Happy 2011

Wow it sounds weird to write 2011 last year flew by! After a VERY hectic Festive Season and a nice little break before the chaos begins I am very excited about the year ahead. I trust your year will be a fantastic one. Kids are back to school on Monday and then I am hoping to have a little more time in the studio and time to update the blog! Lots of exciting things planned for the year ahead and a brain full of ideas! Watch this space.....enjoy your weekend all : )

There are never enough hours in the day.....

I have had such a hectically busy past week with kids, school, birthday parties and still trying to get some work fitted in. Something had to go and it ended up being my sleep, so I have spent today catching up some MUCH needed rest. Waking up every few hours to turn the temperature up on my kiln took me back to the days of my little ones waking up every few hours for a feed, not that, that was too long ago - I am however VERY thankful that those days are done!
Here are some of my new angels I was busy on this past week. Some of the photos are a little washed out - but their new owner arrived to fetch them and I had to snap them supa quick : ( Gonna be a busy busy week getting another 20 or so into the kiln .....bring on the holidays!!!!!

New day, New dawn.....

Working hard to get my kiln filled today to do a bisque fire - 1st shelf full, 2nd half full and 3 more to go. All  to be filled with Angels, tags and small platters....... I love my job : )
It's only waiting for the kiln to cool off that's the struggle for me - patience you see is NOT one of my strongest Character traits!
But like they say, whoever "they" may be, practice make perfect!
